The terms that govern this website and our services.

These terms govern your use of this website and the services provided by SKO TechLabs. By using this website or engaging us for a project, you agree to them.
1. Website Usage
You may browse this website for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a rate that degrades service for others, or use it to transmit unlawful or harmful material.
2. Services
Every project is governed by a written proposal or agreement setting out scope, deliverables, timeline and cost. Where those documents conflict with these terms, the project agreement takes precedence. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it begins.
3. Payments
Unless agreed otherwise, projects are invoiced against milestones: an advance to commence work, one or more progress payments, and a final payment on delivery. Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. We may pause work on materially overdue accounts after giving notice.
4. Intellectual Property
On receipt of final payment, ownership of the custom source code and design assets created specifically for your project transfers to you. Third-party libraries, frameworks and licensed assets remain governed by their own licences. We retain the right to reference the project in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
5. Client Responsibilities
Timely delivery depends on both sides. You agree to provide content, access, credentials, feedback and approvals within the timeframes set out in the project plan. Delays in these inputs may shift delivery dates accordingly.
6. Project Delivery
Estimated timelines are given in good faith based on the agreed scope. Changes to scope, delays in client-supplied material, or dependencies on third parties may affect delivery dates. We will communicate any change to the schedule as soon as we become aware of it.
7. Revisions & Refunds
The number of revision rounds included is stated in the project agreement. Because development work is performed to order, payments for completed milestones are non-refundable. If a project is cancelled before completion, you are liable for work completed to that point and receive the deliverables produced.
8. Warranty & Support
We correct defects in delivered work free of charge during the support window stated in your agreement. This warranty does not cover changes made by third parties, hosting or infrastructure failures outside our control, or new feature requests.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a project is limited to the fees paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep the other's non-public business and technical information confidential and to use it only for the purposes of the project.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice as set out in the project agreement. On termination, you pay for work completed and we hand over the deliverables produced up to that point.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the project agreement states otherwise.
